Employees at Freudenberg-NOK have an exciting opportunity to offer their children and grandchildren the ability to build international relationships by participating in the company’s global student travel program called TANNER.
Created in 1999 by Freudenberg & Co. in commemoration of the global group’s 150th anniversary, the program allows participants to stay with another employee’s family in a foreign country for up to four weeks – all expenses paid.
The hope is that participants will become familiar with the different lifestyles and enjoy various cultural experiences, helping them broaden their horizons and develop a better understanding of different societies.
Through TANNER, Freudenberg-NOK can focus on today’s youth – tomorrow’s business leaders – and help grow a more globally aware talent base by closing international gaps and teaching the next generation cultural awareness and acceptance.
